We utilize the world’s first picosecond laser and the only advanced tattoo removal laser with PressureWave technology, which works with your body to effectively remove unwanted ink with significantly fewer treatments than standard lasers. The advanced technology delivers laser energy that specifically targets tattoo ink without harming the surrounding tissue. Unlike previous lasers, we can now treat patients of any skin tone.
Many people considering laser tattoo removal know that it can be extremely uncomfortable, much worse than getting a tattoo. For this reason, instead of numbing cream, our expert clinical staff utilized formal nerve blocking techniques to make the procedure virtually painless. After the area is numb, the tattoo removal process takes just a matter of minutes. Typically 4-6 sessions are required (vs. 8-12 with a traditional laser), however, sometimes it will take less or more depending on the nature of the tattoo.

I’ve only had one treatment so far but am already happy with how much my tattoo has faded. I would highly recommend Barber Surgeons Guild for any laser treatment. The office is clean, well staffed, and is a very cool atmosphere!

Should I use a topical anesthetic while receiving this treatment?
A topical anesthetic may be administered to increase comfort, although this is not routinely needed.
How long is the downtime?
There is no downtime with PicoSure®. Patients may experience erythema that typically resolves within a few hours, but in some cases, may linger up to 24 hours. Since each patient is unique, we highly recommend following the guidelines provided during your consultation to help optimize safety and efficacy before treatment.
How many treatments will it take to get optimal results?
Most unwanted pigments will significantly lighten or clear in 2-3 sessions.
With each treatment, the tattoo will fade over the coming weeks. After a set of serial treatments, the end result we expect to see would be just a slight haze of the tattoo, if anything. After the tattoo is removed, clients can choose to get a new tattoo over the area if they so desire.
